Meet The Doctor
Frank R. Galka, DDSDoctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Frank Galka is attentive to your dental questions and concerns. He finds great joy in serving each patient with love and respect. He strives to help each patient acquire the healthiest and happiest smile. He provides this level of care in a pain-free and comfortable environment.
Dr. Frank Galka dedicates his life to dentistry and has many years of training and experience. He graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1973 and immediately began practicing dentistry. He taught at Marquette’s Dental School from 1973 to 1979, and also participated in orthodontic studies at St. Michaels’s Hospital from 1974 to 1979. Dr Frank Galka is extremely skilled and knowledgeable and is able to provide a wide array of services from dental implants to Invisalign to oral surgery. You name it, he does it all! His goal is to provide the best care for every patient.
Dr. Frank Galka is supported in all endeavors by his wonderful family. He is happily married to his beautiful wife, Cheryl, and together they enjoy their family of two children, a daughter, Katrina, and a son, Frank III. He likes to keep active, enjoying a wide variety of sports, such as racquetball, squash, wrestling, and sailing. He and his family are active members of Holy Family Catholic Church, where Dr. Frank Galka enjoys participating, in the choir.

Meet The Team
Kurt G. Behlmer, DDS
Dr. Kurt G. Behlmer wanted to be a dentist when he was 6 years old, fascinated by losing his first baby tooth. He is a long-time Milwaukee-area resident, growing up in Wauwatosa. After a stint in beautiful Eau Claire for his bachelor's degree in biology, he returned to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry. He graduated recently with high academic honors. Dr. Kurt Behlmer sincerely enjoys serving patients with a variety of dental needs. He loves hearing all your questions and concerns, no matter how small or strange.
When not working on teeth, Dr. Behlmer enjoys being outdoors, playing volleyball, and reading. As a piano and trombone player, he enjoys all things musical. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Kali, for 3 years. They enjoy playing board games, jogging by the lake, and laughing at goofy jokes. They are active members at Transformation City Church, teaching Sunday School, Bible study, and participating on the cleaning team. Dr. Behlmer looks forward to partnering with you while serving your dental needs.
Frank Ross Galka - Chief Financial Officer
Frank Ross is Dr Frank Galka’s one and only son. He recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with B.S. in Biology. He is learning everything from the front desk to the clinical chairside as a dental assistant. He helps the Lead Dental Assistant, Rose, trimming models, making bleaching trays, retainers, and many more assistant tasks. Frank Ross is currently applying for dental school and he one day will be a dentist just like his father. His goal is to provide the best quality care for patients and put smiles on patients’ faces.
He enjoys playing racket sports such as squash, tennis, and racquetball. He also enjoys playing video games, cycling and socializing. Furthermore, Frank Ross has a strong interest in foreign cultures and languages, and lived in Japan for a year.
Rose Yang – Dental Assistant Lead
Rose has worked for Dr. Frank Galka since July 2005. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and real estate from University of WI-Milwaukee in 2000 and a certificate in dental assisting from Waukesha County technical College in 2005. As the Lead Dental Assistant, she not only helps Dr. Galka with dental procedures but also educates patients about oral care following all dental treatment procedures. Her other duties include training new staff, ordering dental materials, stocking inventory, and troubleshooting radiograph software. She faces exciting challenges every day due to the varying needs of patients. Her favorite part about working in the dental field is helping every patient feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair.
When she is not working in the dental office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids as much as possible. Rose has four lovely children, two daughters and two sons who love camping and taking walks in the park. When Rose is not spending time with her family, she enjoys exercising, reading, and working as a part-time realtor.
She is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA) and Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors (GMAR).
Tammy Baumann – Dental Hygienist
Tammy has worked for Dr Frank Galka since January 2015 and she has 23 years experience as a dental hygienist. She went to Milwaukee Area Technical College’s (MATC) Dental Hygiene Program in 1993. After she graduated from MATC, she worked as a dental hygienist, but she went back to school to get another degree. She went to Ottawa University in 2006 for Healthcare Management. Tammy still continued to work as dental hygienist and she was not satisfied with her degree of Healthcare Management, so she decided to go back to school for another degree. She went back to Ottawa University in 2009 for an Accounting Degree. Tammy is continually honing her skills in hygiene by taking continuing education and she is very knowledgeable of OASHA and Airborne Pathogens. Her goal is to educate every patient and help them maintain healthy oral health.
She has two wonderful children, a son of 15 years and a daughter of 13 years. She loves to spend quality time with her children and they love to travel to Florida for vacation.
Pang Yang—Dental Hygienist
Pang joined the Eastside Dental team last year, 2015. Pang started her dentistry career as a Dental Assistant in 2003 after learning that she had periodontal disease! Soon after working, she realized that she has a true talent and desire to help others achieve the same success as she has. This started her career as a Dental Hygienist in 2008 after she graduated from the Fox Valley Technical College. She shares her knowledge and ideas to help each person she meets to be able to do the same thing that she did; save her teeth! Pang is now going on to 9 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has helped many people achieve a healthy smile and improve their overall health along their journeys . In her pursuit of higher education, Pang graduated with her BAS from UW- Green Bay and is currently working on her MBA at Southern New Hampshire University. Pang’s creative mind led her to expand her skills to business and marketing; she has turned one of her personal hobbies, hand and feet care, into her business, Kepazolo, that offers exceptional beautifying services.
Erica Holland—Front Desk
Erica has worked for Dr Frank Galka since July 2015. She went to Today’s Dentistry, a private dental office that teaches students to be dental assistants. She had ten weeks of private education before she was hired by Dr Frank Galka in August 2015 as a floater/dental assistant. She likes helping, educating and informing patients about how important oral health is. To Erica oral health is so important that she is currently studying for the Dental Hygiene Program at Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC). She will graduate from WCTC in 2020. In May 2016, Erica began working at the Front Desk, where she is helping check patients in and out, billing, presenting treatment plans, answering phone, checking dental insurance, and helping assist when needed. She is a jack of all trades, and quickly mastering some!
Erica is the only child in her family and she is extremely close to her parents. She grew up in a farm house and loves animals. She used to have a dog, a guinea pig and a rabbit as pets. She is currently living in East Side neighborhood of Milwaukee with her two best friends. One of these best friends, Erica grew up with since she was five years old.
Chuck Yang -- Assistant
Chuck is very excited to be working as a dental assistant at Eastside Dental. He started with the practice in August of 2016, mostly helping at the front desk area. Concurrently, he was studying at MATC in dental assisting. After graduating in December, he has begun more regular assisting duties. He loves making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their appointments. Chuck is very active with his church, especially in youth mentorship and Bible studies. When not working or volunteering, Chuck enjoys playing basketball, fishing, and being with friends and family.
